Weirdness

Okay, so I'm a little late, but I was tagged by Elise and Alison for the 'weird' meme. So here goes...I actually thought it was a little hard to think of weird stuff. Hmmm....

1. I’m an accountant and I hate math. Spreadsheets and formulas that do math for me – they are my friends. My favorite subjects were always History and English (the reading books part of English anyway.)

2. I hate dirty fingernails and am obsessed with keeping mine and my children’s clean. Hubby rolls his eyes when the finger nail brushing occurs. Both of my kids have their own nail brush.

3. I like to go to movies and restaurants alone. I did this a lot in college and before I got married, less now. My husband thinks this is VERY weird. I love being able to go have lunch by myself – bring a good book. I also love spending time with friends and family, but the alone time is what re-charges my batteries.

4. I must have ice in cold drinks. The exception to this is soda from a can that I’ve poured in a glass – it doesn’t necessarily have to have ice. I’m not sure why I have to have ice in most cases – I just do.

5. I am very picky about food, particularly at restaurants. I ALWAYS have to make them cook it with or without something, put something on the side, etc. I was this way even before WW. I don’t think I’m Meg Ryan in “When Harry Met Sally” picky, but I’m pretty bad. It drives my husband batty.

6. I am a planner and I am not particularly spontaneous. The weird thing is, part of me would like to be spontaneous, more relaxed but the anal side of me wins out every time. My husband is NOT a planner and it sometimes gives me heartburn. Really.

I think everybody I might tag has done this already...but consider yourself tagged if you want to do this one...

My husband thinks I'm weird because I love to go to movies alone. I need my alone time, and I never have understood why people skip a good movie simply because they have no one to go with them.

And I can hardly drink anything (except milk) if it doesn't have ice in it.

I'm with you - I don't mind diner alone. I love to shop alone, in fact, I hate going with anyone else.

Can't wait to see the new template!
